Logistics on the Bosporus shores
ACEX participated in Logitrans 2018 exhibition, presenting the Alliance capabilities to customers and partners.
Logitrans 2018 an exhibition of transport and logistic services and technologies was held in Istanbul from 14 to 16 of November. ACEX Alliance participants introduced the joint stand. Representatives of the Free Lines Company, BSS and Airon Logistic presented their products at the event.
Free Lines Company presented the new product: the cheapest way for the consolidated cargo delivery from Turkey to Russia through the Novorossiysk Sea Trade Port. This service attracted the interest of the Alliance stand’s guests according to the participants feedbacks.
According to Denis Bobrakov, commercial director of BSS, ACEX in Novorossiysk, the exhibition was useful with regard to increasing the Alliance’s awareness in the international area, and also because of data seeding of ACEX partners. Denis Bobrakov presented the port of Novorossiysk and service in this region at the exhibition.
“Participation in this exhibition is a great opportunity for us, to make a name for ourselves on the Turkish market,” said Alexandra Chagina, ACEX Deputy Business Development Director. The exhibition is not very big, but attendance was high. There was interest to our stand because Russian companies were not widely represented at the event.”
Representatives of Airon Logistic company, the Turkish Alliance member that has storage space in Istanbul and the service of road freight in Europe, attended the exhibition. Also there were representatives of the Bulgarian company at the stand.
Turkey is situated between Europe, the Middle East and Asia and has a great economic potential, being a large logistics hub. Logitrans is one of the significant areas for the logistics development in the region.
136 exhibitors from 20 countries and 14,100 visitors from more than 50 countries participated this year.
The main sections of the exposition: transportation and logistics services, freight transportation systems, information technology, telematics, telecommunications, electronic commerce (communication systems, data processing, control), internal logistics (intralogistics), storage systems and equipment, ID auto-identification, packaging equipment and technology.
