Moscow Based Alliance Member Deals with Challenges of Russian Exporters

CARGO EXPRESS, a member of ACEX in Moscow renders export services to the exporters within the framework of cooperation with the Russian Export Center (REC Group). And in the end of November ACEX representatives attended the forum organized by REC. The anniversary forum “Made in Russia” devoted to the export achievements and new challenges took place in the Congress hall of the World Trade Center. The key topics are the development of export of products manufactured in Russia, consolidation of international and partner REC network, lift of the export barriers through the e-commerce channels, export development of regions and introduction of the export standards.

The forum was opened by a plenary session “Made in Russia – accepted overseas” with the participation of Igor Shuvalov, the First Deputy Prime Minister of the Russian Federation.

According to Petr Fradkov, the head of the REC Group, the total volume of the REC Group support demonstrates a substantial growth in comparison with 2015. In the present year the volume will be twice as bigger and in 2018 it will grow by 25%. Apart from that the number of exporters supported by REC will be 40 times higher than the level of 2015.

ACEX Moscow is an authorized REC partner in terms of logistics and it helps the exporters with the following:consultation about the possibilities and peculiarities of the delivery of the cargo to the indicated region;

  • choice of the most suitable means of transport;
  • consultation about the required documents;

  • types of packages required for the transportation;

  • information  of the possible difficulties related to the transportation of the cargo;

  • consultation about the insurance of the cargo. 

Strategic sessions and round tables devoted to the idea of defining of the instruments for overcoming of the barriers in the export activities took place within the framework of the event. Miroslav Zolotarev, the Board Director of ACEX and Evgeniy Rastopchin, a senior expert of business development attended the expert sessions of REC partners.

“Cooperation with exporters opens new horizons for the logistic companies in terms of the attraction of new customers and business development,” Evgeniy Rastopchin says. “Since the government is aimed at the development of export of the ready products, the heads of the spheres pay a lot of attention to this direction and encourage entry of the Russian products to the foreign markets. And the freight forwarding companies are responsible for the cargo transportation procedures.”
