Two Eurasian forums on the development of passenger and cargo air transportation NETWORK and NETWORK CARGO were held in Krasnoyarsk for the first time. The events were held from 7 to 9 July. The forums have become a place of the world's largest organizations' alliance related to the aviation industry.
Two major international forums on passenger and cargo transportation NETWORK and NETWORK CARGO were over in Krasnoyarsk. The events were held from 7 to 9 July, it should be noted that this was the first official opening for the NETWORK CARGO forum.
These days, the forums have become a unifying platform for more than 400 representatives of airlines, airports, travel operators, cargo terminals, express carriers, freight forwarders and solution providers from the Eurasian continent, including 50 delegates from Europe, Asia and Africa.
Within the framework of NETWORK and NETWORK CARGO, a strategic civilian aviation forum, an exhibition of airports and airlines, conferences on marketing of airlines and airports were held.
In total, the NETWORK and NETWORK CARGO forums presented reports on more than 100 relevant topics. During the conferences and roundtable discussions for airlines and tour operators, delegates listened to reports on current trends and approaches to the development of route networks and tourism, as well as they got acquainted with the key trends of e-commerce, online travel and airline marketing.
A separate block of events, including the international conference "Airport Marketing and Commerce - 2019", was devoted to topical issues of airport aviation marketing, regional airport development projects, aviation and non-aviation airport commerce.
The delegates of the NETWORK CARGO forum learned innovations and the latest trends in the field of digitalization of cargo carrying, discussed logistics issues, strategies for the development of modern Eurasian cargo terminals, while the leading cargo airlines from the Eurasian region and from other regions of the world, freight forwarding companies and national and international postal operators shared their experience of commercial cargo carrying. The key event of the cargo direction of the meeting will be Air Cargo Strategy Forum.
The consulting programme became a key event of the forums. The participants were able to individually discuss cooperation issues, hold and plan further business meetings with other delegates, make new acquaintances and discuss the possibility of expanding their presence in the region through the development of route networks.
