The excavator is essential on the construction site and in the extraction of rocks. The work of this special equipment is fascinating. The apparent ease with which he digs ditches and clears the territory is surprising.

Although the excavator can boast of high cross-country ability, but it needs to be transported. Trawls with low-frame platforms are usually used for their transportation. If such special equipment has a long way to go, for example, from China to Azerbaijan, then multimodal transportation specialists are already involved.

Thus, two members of the ACEX Alliance – AGGL (Azerbaijan) and Farasoobar (Iran) participated in the transportation of the Epiroc excavator. The first stage was the sea transportation from the port of Shanghai in China to the port of Bandar Abbas in Iran. Then loading on a trawl was carried out, there was road transportation to Baku in Azerbaijan. The difficulty of transporting such equipment is in loading onto a ship due to the large dimensions of the excavator, whose weight is 15.5 tons. The cargo was loaded using the under-deck method on the ship from Shanghai to Bandar Abbas. Also, the work is carried out strictly after the appropriate briefing of movers and drivers.

Thanks to the well-coordinated work of the partners from the Alliance, the excavator was carefully loaded onto the ship, and then onto the trawl. In the future, regular shipments of this equipment from China are planned.
